This season we are expanding the opportunity to volunteer
in trade for a CSA Share!
Volunteer for 2023
Work one, half-day per week in the garden in trade for a full CSA share. This is a great, low pressure way to spend time with us in the garden! If you’re interested in volunteering in 2023, please apply here! This season, we are updating our volunteer program so we can offer a more flexible schedule to our volunteers in hopes to be more accessible to our community members who what a chance to work with us in trade for our produce. Please see the details below.
This volunteer season runs from May 1, 2023 – September 30, 2023. We have volunteer teams on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Our work days are from 9 am – 1 pm. You pick which day is best for you to commit to, and then please attend on that day at least 15 out of the 22 weeks of the season. We would love to schedule you for the days that you want ahead of the season, but we also understand that families need flexibility, and can definitely work with you as your summer rolls out to make sure that you can fulfill your commitment to the farm in a way that works for you. We can chat more about this on the phone or via email after you apply.
In trade for your time and dedication, we give you a full CSA share, plus extras when available. You will pick up your CSA share on Tuesday evenings at our regular member pick-up time at the farm (between 4 and 6 pm, from June 20 – Oct 3).
Bring your kids (we have a shade hut and a trampoline in the field to keep them occupied, must be at least 5 years old and able to hang without you for chunks of time), but please not your dogs.
We mostly will be weeding the garden and harvesting during the volunteer time. Please be aware that the work requires squatting for extended periods of time, so you need your knees and back on board 😉
