Help on the Farm!

Are you interested in getting involved?  We are currently organizing our help for the 2021 season!  We will be hiring for some (very) part-time, paid positions in the field, and we are also looking for folks who want to volunteer regularly in trade for a CSA share.  These are great opportunities to work hard, eat well, and have a bunch of fun with our team.

Volunteer for 2021:

We are filling our volunteer spots for 2021.  Work one, half-day per week in the garden in trade for a CSA share.  This is a great, low pressure way to spend time with us in the garden!  If you are a returning volunteer, yay!  We can’t wait to work with you again.  If you are new to us and interested, please read the info below, make sure that you can commit to the full season, then CLICK HERE TO APPLY.  We have limited space on each shift, so please fill out the application and we will let you know if we have a slot for you.

We have volunteer teams two days a week, Mondays and Thursdays, from 9 am – 1 pm,  late May through early October.  You choose which day works best for you to come regularly.  We are looking for people who can commit to their shift for the whole season, but don’t expect anyone to be available every single week.  We can be flexible with your summer schedule, just let us know your needs and availability.

In trade for your time a dedication, we give you a full CSA share, plus extras when available.

Bring your kids (we have a shade hut and a trampoline in the field to keep them occupied, must be at least 4 years old and able to hang without you for chunks of time), but please not your dogs.

We mostly will be weeding the garden and harvesting during the volunteer time.  Please be aware that the work requires squatting for extended periods of time, so you need your knees and back on board 😉

Part-Time Field Hands:

We are also looking to hire for a few part-time, paid positions for 2021.  Here is a look at what we are seeking:

The job will be two days per week, Tuesday and Friday, from 8 am – 2 0r 3 pm, mid May to mid October.  In addition to your pay (which is DOE), we offer plenty of fresh produce to get you through the week.  We work hard, but always have a great time with our staff!  It is mostly field work (lots of squatting in the rows, in all of the conditions), and some washing and processing work.  Must have reliable transportation to the farm east of Bayfield.  Email Emily to apply or to find out more:  homegrownbiodynamics@gmail.com

We sure look forward to working with you!
